The place is an awesome area to visit. The dam has a park where people can visit have an entertaining time with the family, from the park you can get an awe view seeing the majestic dam in front. The park has all the facilities and the fish fry in the dam area are really tasty and mouth drooling. the flavour will definitely tempt everyone.
3. Bannari Amman temple
The temple is situated in the banks of bhavani river, which is about 15 kms away from the bhavani Sagar dam. The people who visit the dam should definitely visit the temple which is awesome for its architectural work. The temple goddesses is very powerfull that people does many offerings. The most important thing to be noted is the “Thee Midhi Thiruvizha” that is people walk over the fire as prayers and offerings to god. This is celebrated as a bigger festival in the area.
4. Kodiveri falls
The falls is just 28 kms from the Bhavani sagar dam. This is a check dam. The place is really awesome to visit and have a chilling bath in the falls. But always have the guidence of the local people since the rocky areas are little dangerous. But the beauty of the place will throb your heart. The greenery place and the herbal air will make your mind refreshing.
